Characters Name: General Grievous "From Star Wars"
Date Started: September 2nd 2007
Date Completed: March 1st 2009
Time Spent: 2 Months
Programs Used: Animation Master, Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop, After effects
My Personal Comments: YAY! Its finally done and not a moment to soon.

First of all, I know what you're thinking.. "2007 - 2009!!" xD After I finished modeling him in A:M I wanted to learn and use maya. And it took me a while to get it and figure it out. I only really started working on him again January 3rd this year.

But what a year this has been so far. When I got maya in March last year, all I was doing was learning modeling. Thats all I ever did in animation. But in order to finish this character I had to learn more. So within the last month and a half I have learned:
UV mapping
Zbrush "making and exporting detail on the model"
Rigging
Lighting
Rendering
And a hell of alot of other small things

There are a few things I know I did wrong.. or could have done better with more weeks of trying to learn. (my main thing at this moment is that I cant get it to continously rotate.. but I'll work on that) But I think you all will agree I have waited to long.

This is the hardest model I have worked on and IMO, My best work. I am very proud and would love to hear what everyone has to say.
